ÖSD Preparation Course
ÖSD (Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch) is an Austrian organization specialized in teaching and assessing the German language. ÖSD offers a wide range of German language examinations for non-native speakers who wish to demonstrate and certify their proficiency in German.
These exams are widely recognized and are commonly used for study, employment, and immigration purposes in Austria and other German-speaking countries.
Different ÖSD exam levels are available, aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
These levels include A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2, where A1 represents the beginner level and C2 the most advanced level of proficiency.
ÖSD exams include various components designed to assess a candidate’s German language skills, including reading, listening, speaking, writing, and grammatical knowledge. Upon successful completion of the exam, candidates receive an ÖSD certificate indicating their level of proficiency in the German language.
These certificates are internationally recognized and can be used for various purposes, including university applications, employment opportunities, and immigration processes in German-speaking countries. Each ÖSD certification level reflects an individual’s ability to communicate effectively in German across different real-life situations.
