This includes visas such as the Student visa, Work visa, and other types of residence permits.
The key differences between standard IELTS and IELTS UKVI are:
Use of Results: IELTS UKVI results are primarily used for UK visa and immigration applications, whereas standard IELTS is generally used for academic or professional purposes outside the UK (and in many cases also within the UK where UKVI approval is not required).
Score Reporting: IELTS UKVI results are issued in a format that clearly indicates the test was taken under UKVI-approved conditions. This allows institutions and immigration authorities to verify that the correct version of the test was completed.
Security Standards: IELTS UKVI follows additional security procedures to ensure the identity of the test taker and compliance with UKVI regulations.
